With a little over two days from takeoff, now is the time when everyone starts getting excited. We are all scrambling to get money in various foreign currencies, buy whatever necessities we need to take (like batteries and soap!), and try to pack 3 months worth of clothes in two suitcases. (I hope I'm kidding!)
Soon enough we will be landing in Tokyo. We expect to spend some time in the neon jungle of Tokyo on Saturday night, and then wake up refreshed (!) on Sunday morning to meet with the CEO of Bayer Japan and his wife (who is an expert on Chinese trade law and speaks multiple languages). One day in Tokyo, and then it's off via bullet train ("shinkansen") to Nagoya on Sunday evening.
Obviously we won't have time to sleep until we get back to Pittsburgh! ;-)
When we have access to the internet, we will have more to report there ... hopefully along with photos. Stay tuned!
